Captain Video is een concept, ontwerp en productie studio voor bewegend beeld in Amsterdam.
Begonnen in 1994 als video-jockey’s in clubs en discotheken en inmiddels uitgegroeid tot professionals in motion graphic design, montage, regie, 3D animatie en software-ontwikkeling.
Het werk van Captain Video bestaat uit televisie vormgeving, vj, interaction design, opdrachtfilms, films voor musea en visuals voor dans- en theaterproducties. Captain Video probeert steeds nieuwe manieren te onderzoeken in het vertellen van beeldverhalen.
Captain Video is a Amsterdam based concept, design and production company for moving images. Started in 1994 as a video-jockey collective performing with bands and DJ’s we have grown into a highly skilled group of specialists in the fields of motion graphic design, film editing, film directing, 3D animation and visual programming.
Past work includes broadcast design, vj, interaction design, corporate communication, film for museums and visuals for dance and theatre productions. We feel it is important to always explore new ways of visual storytelling.
